Mt Druitt’s early childcare centres are run by dedicated, hard working educators who are passionate about caring for children. In order to support these educators The Hive, in collaboration with Western Sydney University, has assisted to establish an Early Childhood Educators Network. This network offers invaluable professional development and relationship building opportunities for early educators in the Mt Druitt area.
The Early Educators Network is a bi-monthly community of practice that is driven by the needs of educators, the NQS and data. The network brings people together to learn from subject experts, as well as each other, in order to sustain a quality environment for children in Mt Druitt.
This professional community is about sharing expertise and strengths, mentoring and supporting one another.
Bound by a shared goal and developed in collaboration with the community, The Hive’s initiatives enable sustainable change.
Working collaboratively with local services in four suburbs across 2770, The Hive forms a community backbone, responding to the communities needs and priorities.
