Enabling an empowered, child-centred
We believe that every child deserves to thrive and enjoy diverse life opportunities.
Operating on Darug land, in the heart of Mt Druitt, The Hive is the backbone organisation of a place-based, collective impact initiative that works to ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
The Hive’s holistic and inclusive approach is centered around community voice and aspirations. It recognises the impact that families, communities, Governments and service systems have on the well being of children.
By working Together in 2770, we can achieve sustainable, long term change.
Building trust through engagement and community leadership.
Working alongside communities for change.
The Hive acknowledges that our staff live across many unceded Aboriginal lands, with The Hive engaged in deep work on Darug Country. We acknowledge the custodians whose knowledge, cultures and customs have nurtured, and continue to nurture land and peoples since the dreaming. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present and to all Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Peoples whom we work alongside. We endeavour to work together as one to strengthen local communities and we respect the cultures and traditions of all Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Peoples. We commit to the journey of reconciliation, admitting we may not always get it right, but approach the process with open and humble hearts, and the intention to do better.
Collaborating through a shared vision.
